30 July 2026 – The Central Committee of the Somali Teachers Syndicate (SOTES), in collaboration with the Horsed Training and Research Center, successfully conducted its second capacity-building training for Central Committee members at the SOTES headquarters in Waberi District, Mogadishu.
The session was facilitated by senior trainer Ustad Abdikamal Mohamed Sheikh Abdullahi and focused on strengthening leadership and governance through key topics, including strategic leadership, governance and effective oversight, the roles and responsibilities of the Central Committee, accountability and ethical leadership, and strategic planning for organizational development.
The training aimed to enhance the leadership, governance, and oversight capacities of Central Committee members, enabling them to effectively fulfill their responsibilities while promoting transparency, accountability, and the sustainable growth of the Somali Teachers Syndicate.
