The Somali Teachers Syndicate (SOTES) conducted a training session on Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) in Educational Settings on 27 August 2026 at the SOTES Training Center.
The training, titled “Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Awareness for Teachers,” was delivered by Eng. Yahye Abdi Elmi and attended by 20 teachers.
The session focused on strengthening teachers’ awareness and understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices within educational institutions. It emphasized the important role teachers play in creating and maintaining learning environments that are safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible.
